Fact Checking
Tikish Saytlar employs a multi-step fact-checking process for all published content.
Our Process
- Primary source verification: All claims are verified against operator websites, terms pages, and licence databases
- Author drafts content using research from official operator websites, regulatory sources, and firsthand testing. Source references are published as in-line citations on every review, guide, and news article. Each page includes a public source list
- Dual-reviewer system: An independent fact-checker (different from the author) verifies all claims against source material
- Editor reviews for accuracy, completeness, and fairness
- Final review before publication
Quarterly Re-checks
Every published review undergoes a quarterly re-check. During this process we re-visit the operator's site, verify current bonus terms, confirm payment method availability, and test customer support. Any changes are reflected in the review and noted in the Review History section.
Correction Log
When a factual error is identified, we correct it within 48 hours. Significant corrections include an editor's note explaining what changed and why. Minor corrections (typos, outdated bonus amounts) are updated without a separate note. All corrections are tracked internally.
Sources
We prioritise primary sources including official operator websites, regulatory filings, and our own first-hand testing data. We cross-reference bonus amounts, payment methods, and licensing details against the operator's current offerings.
